BUILD 41 GUIDE
Server Won't Start - Common Fixes (Build 41)
Troubleshoot Build 41 server startup issues
Common Causes
- Incompatible mods — A recently added mod may be crashing the server. Remove mods one at a time to isolate.
- Corrupted world save — Restore from a backup or delete the world folder to generate a fresh map.
- Insufficient RAM — Heavy mod loads or large maps need more memory. Check your plan's allocation.
- Config errors — Invalid values in server settings can prevent startup. Reset to defaults and reconfigure.
Step-by-Step Fix
- Open your control panel and check the Console tab for error messages.
- If you see mod-related errors, go to Configuration and remove all Workshop IDs. Try starting again.
- If the server still won't start, try restoring from the most recent backup.
- As a last resort, delete the world save folder via File Manager and restart to generate a fresh world.
- If nothing works, open a support ticket with your console logs attached.
Checking Console Logs
The most important diagnostic tool is your server console. Look for lines containing "ERROR" or "Exception". These will tell you exactly what's preventing startup.
💡 Pro Tip
Always create a backup before making major changes. You can create manual backups from the Backups tab in your control panel.
