Installing Mods via Workshop (Build 42)

Add Steam Workshop mods to your Build 42 server

Workshop Mod Installation

Build 42 uses the same Workshop ID system as Build 41, but mod compatibility may vary. Always check that mods are updated for B42.

Step 1: Find Workshop IDs

Browse the Steam Workshop for Project Zomboid. Each mod page URL contains a numeric ID — copy this number.

Step 2: Add to Server

In your control panel, go to Configuration → Workshop Mods. Paste the Workshop IDs separated by semicolons.

Step 3: Restart

Restart your server. Mods will download automatically on the next boot.

⚠️ Build 42 Compatibility

Not all Build 41 mods work on Build 42. Check the mod description for B42 compatibility notes before installing.
