MODDING
Installing Mods on HumanitZ Server
Add Steam Workshop mods to your server for customized gameplay.
Method 1: Steam Workshop (Recommended)
The easiest way to add mods using Steam Workshop IDs.
- Find mods on Steam Workshop and copy the ID from the URL
- In Pterodactyl, open File Manager
- Navigate to
Config/folder - Edit
Mods.txt - Add each Workshop ID on a new line:
3089677575 ; Unlimited Stamina mod example
3112345678 ; More Loot mod example
Important: Save the file and restart your server. Mods download automatically on startup.
Method 2: Manual Mod Installation
For mods not on Workshop or custom mods.
- Download the mod files (.pak or folder)
- In File Manager, navigate to
Mods/folder - Upload mod files (drag & drop or use Upload button)
- For .pak files: place directly in Mods/ folder
- For folders: ensure folder name matches mod name
Checking Mod Installation
Verify mods loaded successfully:
- Restart your server
- Watch console for "Downloading mod: [ModName]" messages
- Check for "All mods loaded successfully" message
- Connect to server and verify mod features work
Mod Conflicts
If your server crashes after adding mods:
- Remove last added mod and restart
- Check console for specific mod errors
- Some mods conflict - test one at a time
- Ensure mod version matches your game version
Popular Mods (January 2026)
- Increased Stack Sizes - Less inventory management
- Faster Crafting - Reduced craft times
- More Zombies - Harder survival experience
- Loot Plus - Better loot distribution
Always check mod descriptions for compatibility with current HumanitZ version.
